Proud to be selected as a finalist in the international Art Competition ‘Art for Peace’.
With three of my works: Equal, Melt with me and Included2.
As stated by the Community Art Channel:
“Art has the ability to bring communities together, resolve conflict, and encourage peace.
Simultaneously, art can facilitate strong relationships as people work together. Art opens our minds, helps us understand emotions and even understand ourselves.
Art has the unique ability to change our perception of people, situations and conflicts, serving as a means of expression to create a better world.
This universal language can be used as a strategic tool in peacekeeping methods, giving voice to marginalized and oppressed groups. The social and cultural aspects of art should be included in peacebuilding initiatives. It can build trust and could even bring communities to work together.”
