About Big Waves
I painted this work digitaly to symbolize the Big Waves of Life. Life as a journey marked by defining moments, like large, sweeping waves that crash in. Some of these waves bring joy, carrying you forward with hope and excitement, while others bring pain, challenging us to navigate through the storm.
Yet, through it all, the world continues on—represented by the smaller, constant waves, always moving, indifferent to our personal highs and lows. The rhythmic flow of the waves mirrors life’s patterns. The vibrant colors I painted reflect the multifaceted nature of these moments, where joy, sorrow, and everything in between coexist.
These big waves, whether positive or painful, are an integral part of life’s ebb and flow. And beneath the surface of the waves, there’s always a calmer, unbroken space—a reminder that amidst life’s turbulence and chaos, always a deeper stillness exists.
I hope this work invites you to reflect on both big and small moments and to embrace and celebrate them as much as you can, as they all belong to the flow of life.
