This piece is part of the project entitled ‘liminality’, a period where one is no longer what they once were, yet not fully what they will become. It embodies a fluid space where the old has been left behind, but the new has yet to take shape. This transitional realm is both vulnerable and challenging, reflecting the fragile yet dynamic nature of change. The pieces invite viewers to immerse themselves in this ‘in-between’ space of transition and uncertainty, where the old is gone, and the new remains unknown, and explore the boundless possibilities of imagination
These works are created early 2024’s, experimenting with AI assistance, based on research on the subject of liminality, which I transformed into poetic tekst, using my voice. Then it’s combined, blended, and edited into a digital work.
Specific on Being
‘Being’ is an exploration of the fleeting and ever-changing nature of the self in relation to environment, context and history. It illustrates the fluidity and instability of identity and highlights how it is constantly influenced by and adapts to external factors. This work invites viewers to consider the changing and transient nature of the self, shaped by the interplay of time, place and history.
